Exuding a new perception of the shape of a retro running shoe, the GEL-KAYANO™ 14 running shoe is revived with its late 2000s aesthetic that recalls our legendary GEL-KAYANO™ series. Reinterpreting the shoe's high-performance capabilities with updated materials and components, this model became the first iteration in sneaker history to be designed by anyone other than Toshikazu Kayano. This passing of the baton revives the legendary values of the franchise, as well as marking a development in the evolution of performance. Mimicking the original midsole crafting with GEL™ technology cushioning, this shoe also improves the fit of the upper while retaining the layered leather and mesh construction from 2008. Additionally, the sockliner is made with a solution-dyed process to reduce water use by 33% and carbon emissions by approximately 45%.
