Bringing a new sense of retro running shoe form, the GEL-KAYANO™ 14 running shoe returns with its late 2000s aesthetic that harks back to our legendary GEL-KAYANO™ series. Reimagining the shoe's performance features with updated materials and components, it became the first iteration in sneaker history to be designed by anyone other than Toshikazu Kayano. This passing of the torch rekindles the franchise's legendary values, as well as marking a development in the evolution of performance. Mimicking the original midsole construction with GEL™ technology cushioning, the shoe also improves the fit of the upper while retaining the overlay construction of 2008's leather and mesh. Additionally, the sockliner uses a solution-dyeing process to reduce water usage by 33% and carbon emissions by approximately 45%.
