The New Balance 9060 model is a new expression of the refined style and innovative design of the classic 99X series. The 9060 model reinterprets the familiar elements of the 99X with a visionary sensibility, inspired by the visibly technological and proudly futuristic aesthetic of the Y2K era. Wobble bars, carried over from the 990, have been expanded and used throughout the upper to give a visible sense of movement, while the wavy lines and scaled proportions on a sculpted midsole place an exaggerated emphasis on the familiar ABZORB and SBS cushioning foundations.
